I don’t get the confusion over the spare tire. He asked me where the tools were for the spare tire. I thought behind the passenger seat & under the back seat. When I asked if the mechanic found the tools, I was told yes. Not until I was checking out did I find out the spare tire was never dropped. Kelly had to use a mirro to find the tire date. The long tools were in the side box on the right side of the bed. I found out when I read the manual at home. I could not find the tools supposedly under the back passenger seat. Don’t know what happened to the piece to hold up the car while changing the tire. Please don’t misunderstand me. I’m not blaming anyone, but really, no one came to me to say, hey we couldn’t find the trucks tools to drop the spare or the jack, or any other tool not found for the job. You guys should try to be more transparent, esp with women who you may think know nothing about cars. If we don’t ask the right question doesn’t mean we don’t need to know. Now I’m wondering where are those tools. Remember, I am not accusing you, it could have been my husband with dementia or my worthless son on drugs & alcohol. Go figure…. Otherwise, my review is a perfect five star!

I am a lifelong customer. If I can’t fix, this shop is the only shop I want touching my trucks. Or any shop they recommend for any service that they might not provide.

North Eastern Tacoma needed new brake lines and Kelly's Auto Repair took on the Service. I am very happy with the service I received. I feel that I was treated with respect and they more than met my expectations. I like that it's a family run business. The guys were great to talk to about my automotive services and future things to consider. They itemized the services that I should consider in the future. I'm very happy to say, if there was a 6th star on the review page above, I would click it… The a/c on my beloved 2001 Dodge Dakota needed some expert attention as it was only putting out warm sometimes hot air. From making the initial appointment until I walked out of the office after their excellent repair, I was very positively impressed. From Steven the service advisor, Justin the service manager and even Kelly the owner, they were very friendly, engaging and showed great interest in solving my problem, and at a very reasonable price I might add… I liked them so much, I’m going back next week for another different repair. As with all things mechanical issues can be expensive. This was no different however in this situation I think they earned it. I had several issues and they got it fixed in 2 days. I still have a few more things to fix and I’ll definitely use these mechanics. They were friendly and professional. They also answered all my questions… even the dumb ones. I’m excited to have a place I can rely on for future mechanical needs.
